Yes, Teen Boys . . .

. . . do play Ultimate Frisbee in the rain.

No, they don't cut the games short. They insist on playing 3 full games.

No, I don't have photos, because I sat safe and dry in my car and read a book. So did all the other Moms, although we didn't have the heart to call the game.

Obviously all of our boys are spoiled rotten, LOL.

*SIGH*

Until next time . . .

I have "watched" many a football game through the fogged up windows of my car. LOL!

If we didn't play sports in the rain here in Seattle, we'd never play sports at all. It's all about rain gear and coffee . . .

Your title reminded me that I'm now the parent of a teen -- she's 13!

I'm not even sure what "Ultimate Frisbee" is! Well, rain won't hurt anybody, eh? So I'm glad the boys got to play and the moms were able to stay dry.

You already knew this, of course, but you are one great mama. I'd have still been back at the house saying "Oh no we are NOT going to the Ultimate Frisbee game in this weather! I just put on hair spray!!" ;)

I hope your spoiled boy knows how to wash his own wet, muddy laundry ;) I'd feel bad sitting in the car while my 8 year old played t-ball in the cold or something, but by the time they get to be teenagers, they have sense enough to choose that fate for themselves. I ain't about to suffer because they want to play in the rain!

Ahh yes, teen boys! Isn't it great that you have one who gets out to play Ultimate in the rain, rather than one who sits in front of a video game on a rainy day? And of course, it's also great that he's old enough that you didn't have to stand in the rain and watch!
