Be Careful What You Wish For.

Always remember that if you pray for patience, you will not one day wake up and find yourself more patient. Actually, you will find yourself (of no fault of your own) in situations where you are forced to be patient whether you like it or not.

If you also pray for a kinder gentler spirit, you will not be amazed one morning to find yourself to be a sweet gentle soul. Oh, no, that isn't how it works at all. You will constantly find yourself in situations that wrestle your conscious into being kind, gentle and sweet even when your first instinct is to be mean, rough, and salty.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am getting all of my prayers answered in abundance these days.

That's all . . . carry on.

Until next time . . .

I have learnt not to pray patience, because every time all Hell brakes loose!
I have learnt not to pray for a gentle spirit because someone will get all up in your face and push all the right buttons!
I have learnt to take one day at a time and pray they Lords prayer and the Serenity prayer.

He read the book and I would quiz him all the time. Plus I would let him drive for a short distance in my mom's neighborhood. There was a man who was going to teach that to our Home school group, but for some reason he backed out. He use to teach it in Public Schools.

I think of "Evan Almighty" when God asks Evan's wife if you are automatically given patience when you pray for it, or if you are given opportunities to learn to be patient...

And since you know this is the answer, well, I guess you can only go with the flow.

All will be well. We are unfinished works of art; that is why we are here. :)
