Lettuce Ole'

Mom #2 enjoyed her first harvest of the season this morning.   I don't touch the garden, because we want it to grow . . . not die.  I have the worst luck with plants.

See how lovely the lettuce looks?
She picked out the biggest prettiest one to bring inside.

We're going to shred it on some yummy tacos for our Cinco De Mayo dinner tonight!

Until next time . . .

That looks like some tasty lettuce.

I had my first crop too. Rhubarb. James hates it, so more for me.

I am also having a baby bunny problem. It's so much harder to kill the little ones.

Yay for fresh veggies from your own garden, and yay for tacos. And yay for Cinco de Mayo. And yay for YOU!

That is one good looking lettuce! Looks like we could use some of Mom#2's assistance with our garden here! Hope you enjoyed your Cinqo de Mayo celebrations...

Drool on my keyboard. That is some beautiful lettuce! We still don't grow lettuce here because of the critters... I don't have the heart to deny them so we get ours from the local CSA.

I am SO jealous! It's supposed to SNOW here tonight, so anything in our garden will probably be dead by tomorrow. :-(

That looks awesome though!
