My Cups Runneth Over

First ceramic attempts.

I wouldn't actually recommend anyone drink out of them, because, well, I can't afford the attorneys' fees or the medical bills.

I am proud of the funky colors I made by mixing waxes, rusts, and glazes.

I think my actual construction may be getting better, but it's hard to know until pieces actually come out of the kiln.

Turns out, just because you're a lover of the arts, does not necessarily mean that you actually have artistic talent, LOL.

Luckily, I'm having a WHOLE LOT of FUN!

Until next time . . .

I think they're beautiful! And in a group look really, really nice.

But I am disappointed.
I thought from the title that I was gonna get a bra review or something. Not necessarily of YOUR bra... just so you know.

So pretty! I love the glaze colors. The joy you took in creating these is evident in the finished pieces.

I think they look great for a first attempt. I like the sort of aqua looking one with the brown diagnoal streaks. Even if you don't drink out of them they look fantastic for holding art supplies like brushes or color pencils. Art is as much about the process as the end result anyway. At least that is what I tell myself. LOL

I really really like them! My first thought was Oooooh how pretty and then I was awed by the artistic flair and wondering why you can't drink out of them? Not that I know much about pottery but don't you just seal it all with glaze or something? LOL I would totally drink out of them! They are fantastic!
