My Son - The Genius!

Baby Boy had his belt testing at tae kwon do this past weekend. He did very well, remembered all his forms, etc . . . BUT the highlight of the whole event, for me, was when he showed off his great big home-schooled brain! Mom #2 and I were pumped up for hours afterwards!

The audio is a little distorted, but if you pay attention, you get the gist of it.

Until next time . . .

It's a LOT distorted. I can't understand what he said at all!

You must provide a transcript before I go mad!!

Ami! Why are you always starting trouble on my blog!? LOL

I didn't realize it was so distorted. I guess it's obvious to me because I was there.

Anyway, the instructor asked the class if they knew how birds fly. He was looking for one of the students to make the analogy that the mama bird pushes the babies out of the nest in order for them to learn to fly.

Instead, Baby Boy raised his hand and gave him a very detailed scientific reason of how birds physically fly.

For a moment, everyone just stood there staring and then they broke out into laugher and applause.

It was Delicious!

Maybe I'll put this ON the blog instead of in the comments. It just occurred to me that no one else may know what's going on either. *SIGH*

Well I got the gist of it anyway, although I missed the part about the teacher's intended meaning. Knowing what the teacher actually meant, that's pretty funny. Well, he asked, didn't he?

I think I caught the "that was awesome" by the teacher at the end.

Very savvy, your child is. Mmm!

Congratulations on all of the hard work that all of you have done to raise such a talented, smart young man.

As for as the genealogy, I can always lend you a hand!

I didn't understand it either, but got the idea that Baby Boy gave an excellent answer of some sort. Go Baby Boy!!
